Get to know your ingredients:

Floral Water

Floral water is a natural and versatile product that offers numerous benefits for the skin. From hydration and soothing properties to antioxidant protection and aromatherapy benefits, it's a must-have addition to your skincare routine.

Aloe vera Concentrate

Aloe vera concentrate offers a multitude of benefits for your face. From hydration and moisturization to soothing and anti-aging effects, this powerful plant extract can transform your skincare routine.

Aloe vera drink can be used if that's what you have on hand. I like this one for product creation:

Honey

Honey is packed with antioxidants, enzymes, and nutrients that are beneficial for your skin. It has natural antibacterial properties that can help fight acne-causing bacteria and prevent breakouts. Honey is also a humectant, which means it helps to retain moisture in the skin, keeping it hydrated and supple. Honey also has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe irritated skin and reduce redness.

Glycerine can be used instead of honey if you prefer.

Preservative

Preservatives may have received a bad reputation in the skincare industry, but when used correctly, they can provide several benefits for your face. From preventing contamination and extending shelf life to maintaining product efficacy and reducing the risk of skin infections, preservatives play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of skincare products.

Preservative Options:

(These are my favorites in order of preference for this product)

Geogard 221, made from: Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Water

Optiphen, made from: Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol

Optiphen Plus, made from: 2-Phenoxyethanol, 1,2-Octanediol, Sorbic Acid

Germaben, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

FYI: Optiphen and Optiphen Plus is my go to for all products it's Paraben- and formaldehyde-free. Geogard 221 is  water soluble so only for products that contains water, Geogard 221 is also vegan, non-GMO

Do your research pick the preserve that you like best.

Face Wata a great addition to facial routine whether under or over make up for very hydration.

Happy Making!
